David Callahan
March 9th, 1953 - June 22nd, 2023
David J. Callahan of Wesley Chapel, FL passed away peacefully on June 22nd 2023 at the age of 70. David was born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ before retiring to Florida. David is survived by his loving family including his wife of 48 years Jeanne (Lamo), son David and his wife Sara, daughter Sarah and her husband Marc and 5 adoring grandchildren-Luke, Ryan, Emma, Sophia and Paul. David had a long career as an ironworker in New York City. He was also a talented artist, who enjoyed drawing and painting in his free time. David’s greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family. “Pop” was the best grandfather and was cherished by all his grandkids. Nothing made him happier and prouder than being around them and seeing them grow into the great kids that they have become. The family will be celebrating David in a private service followed by a funeral Mass at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 on Tuesday 6/27/23.
