David Lee Fallis, 72, husband of Janet Leigh Price Fallis, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. A native of Frankfort, he was born on February 27, 1948 to the late Paul Fallis and Diana Brumback Hellard. David was the Principal Chief of the Kentucky Southern Cherokee. He worked for the State of Kentucky as a Systems Consultant and was a Veteran of the US Army, served in Korea during the Vietnam era. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Leigh Ann (Sun Spirit) Fallis, Frankfort and Lindsay Fallis, Frankfort; his sons, David Ward Fallis, Lexington and Chris (Chelsea) Fallis, Frankfort; his daughter-in-law, Roxanne Hurt; his sisters, Andrea Hellard and Angela Hellard, both of Frankfort; his brother, John (Mary) Fallis, Frankfort; and his grandchildren, John Everett Fallis and Presley Trent Fallis. Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00pm until 5:00pm on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics or the KY Southern Cherokee Nation at KSCNation.org.
