David Raymond Gagne

David R. “Yankee” Gagne 70, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at his home. David served his country in the U.S Army. He was known for his work ethic and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. David was a devoted husband, father, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Eva Gagne; sister, Paula Gagne. Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Jackie Larkin Gagne; sons, Joshua David Gagne, Jake Gagne and wife Jessica; grandchildren, Seth, Jessee, and Jade Gagne; brothers, Jimmy, Rodney, Timothy, and Mark Gagne; sisters, Mona Waldron and Tina Gagne; daughter-in-law, Brandie Ervin; along with a host of friends and extended family. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Sandra Couch officiating. A military graveside service will be conducted at 10am on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Honors conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3/265.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50am. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport is serving the Gagne family.
