David J. Heaslip, 72, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed Thursday, February 2, 2012. He was born in Boston, MA and moved to St. Petersburg in 2002 from Watertown, MA. He was a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a Mechanical Engineer. He is survived by 1 son, Stephen Heaslip of Dedham, MA; 1 daughter, Michelle Forristall of Newton, MA; 4 sisters, Anne Twiss of Fort Pierce, FL, Ellen Powderly of Norfolk, MA, Marie Kingston of Westborough, MA, Jane Weagle of Wells, ME; 9 grandchildren; and a very dear friend, Jan Boccuti.
