Warner Robins, GA: Mr. David Joel Hester, 57, passed away at a local hospital in Macon. Funeral services will be held at the First Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 9, 2010. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 8, 2010 at the funeral home. Reverend David Miller will officiate. Interment will be at Parkway Memorial Gardens. David was born on July 12, 1952 to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert T. Dorothy Johnson Hester, Sr. David was preceded in death by his Father Herbert T. Hester, Sr. and his daughter Christian Christy Marie Elizabeth Hester. David was an avid Northside High School supporter and a member of the Booster Club. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where he sang in the choir and was a member of the church board. Survivors include his Mother, Mrs. Dorothy J. Hester; Daughter, Kendra Danielle Cherry-Hester both of Warner Robins, GA and Brother Herbert T. Debra Hester, Jr. of Reynolds, GA. Also surviving are four grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
