David W. Hobbs Jr., 62, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021. David was born to David and Vellamae Hobbs on November 15, 1959 in Chicago, IL. David lived a life full of love. He spent time in the United States Army and obtained a certificate in Information Technology. David found his passion in the IT industry and truly enjoyed working with his co-workers. David did not have kids of his own, however he loved his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He also loved his step-daughter, Tara just the same. His latest joy in life was the birth of his granddaughter, Mia. David was preceded in life by his parents, David and Vellamae Hobbs and sister, Kathryn Bockman. He is survived by his brother, Dale (Leslie) Hobbs; step-daughter, Tara Fossa; nieces and nephews, Tamara Alexander, Emily (Nate) Schrank, Julia (Bobby) Sotir and Dale Hobbs Jr. along with many great nieces and nephews. David is also survived by his second loving family, Edmond R Quarrato Jr, Elizabeth Quarrato, Josephine J. Quarrato, Crystal Quarrato Manaloto, Joseph V Quarrato, Anthony Manaloto and Sonny Manolto. Service arrangements will be made at a later date.
