David "David Ben" Nisson Jacobson
July 3rd, 1939 - April 19th, 2017
David Nisson Jacobson, 77, a 15 year resident of Las Vegas and formerly of Chicago, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017. David was born July 3, 1939 in Chicago, IL. In 1971, David founded The Jacobson Group, a leading executive search and staffing firm for the insurance industry. A world traveler who loved spending time with his grandchildren and friends, David loved tennis, technology and shopping. He was affectionately known as Papa D. David is survived by his wife of 34 years, best friend and love of his life, Jewel Jacobson of Las Vegas; children Gregory (Betsy) Jacobson of Highland Park IL, Jacqueline (Gene) Schneider of Vernon Hills IL, Richard Jacobson of Highland Park and Marc (Allison) Jacobson of Davison MI; grandchildren Maxwell Jacobson, Emily Jacobson, Rebecca Schneider, Lauren Jacobson, Eliana Schneider, Madelyn Jacobson, Molly Jacobson, Abbie Jacobson, Ava Jacobson and Alex Jacobson; and sister Lois (Alvin) Bush. A celebration of David's life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Kraft-Sussman Funeral Services, 3975 S. Durango Dr., #104, Las Vegas, NV 89147. Contributions in David's memory are requested to Nathan Adelson Hospice, Las Vegas NV.
