David Shawn Johnson, 54, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. He was born February 1, 1966 in Princeton, New Jersey to Laurence J. and Patricia Darlea Johnson. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. He belonged to and was an active member of the Lexington Motion Church. David was an avid Disney fan and enjoyed collecting Disney memorabilia. David was always one to work hard, pay attention to detail and provide the best service he could to his fellow co-workers, friends and customers. He was kind and generous to a fault. During his career he was given many awards including “employee of the month” and “employee of the year”. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Steven (Janet) Johnson, NY; niece, Amanda Johnson; nephew, Daniel Johnson and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. We have decided not to have a Celebration of David's life because of the covid 19 virus. We do not want to jeopardize the health of others and ourselves. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Heart Association.
