David Allen Merkley

Merkley- David Allen 19 of St. Petersburg passed away Wednesday December 14, 2005 at Bayfront Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He came here in 2003 from his native Ithaca New York, and was a cashier at CVS Pharmacy in Northeast St. Petersburg. He was Protestant. Survivors include his mother Claudette Merkley of St. Petersburg; his father and step-mother David and Dee Merkley of Fort Myers; two brothers Christopher and Anthony both of St. Petersburg; a sister Becky Merkley of Groton New York; his maternal grandparents Claude and Sharon Sims of St. Petersburg; his paternal grandparents David and Leatrice Merkley of Bonita Springs; his maternal great-grandmother Wanda Roberts of Freeville New York; a nephew Tanner Karschner and a niece Ivy Karschner both of Groton New York and several aunts and cousins. David C. Gross Funeral Homes and Cremation Center, Central Avenue Chapel, St. Petersburg is serving the family. A memorial service will be 3PM Tuesday, December 20, 2005 in the David C. Gross Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. C. Curtis Hess, officiating. The family suggests memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to All Children's Hospital. Service Information
