"Palmer - David James Nutter, 64, died unexpectedly on January 15, 2019 in Springfield. Born January 30, 1954 in Ware, he was the son of Gabrielle (Guerin) Nutter of W. Warren and the late A. Dale Nutter. David worked for many years at Monson Developmental Center. Besides his mother, he will be deeply missed by his 3 children, Christine Brown and her husband Douglas of W. Warren, Heather Yurkunas and her husband John of Palmer, and David J. Nutter, Jr. of Ware, along with his 7 grandchildren, Derek, Dylan, Bethany and Devin Bedard, Luke Nutter, Alec Crosby, and Michael Yukunas. He also leaves a sister Mary Jane Blanchet and her husband Peter of Barrington, RI along with 2 nephews Jeremy and Jeff Blanchet. Besides his father, David was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Ann Nutter (2009). Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19 at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Calling hours will be from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the ceremony. For those wishing to honor his memory, please make donations in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
