Charles Jackson has always been a thoughtful and kind true gentleman with words of encouragement and sincere care and consideration, both as we were growing up (he's several years older than I), and throughout out adult years. I.am grateful I have had the pleasure of knowing he and his parents and siblings. His loving presence will be missed by many.

 First cousin Charles is remembered as the kind of personality that any family would wish their son to be: calm, unassuming with a fervent love for God and his fellow man. We shall miss him greatly.

🕯️ I'm so thankful to have known you. We were kids together at Countrywood. You were very, very, very smart. Energetic. Creative. Funny. We would come up with the most crazy things to do. The thing I remember most is our parade, which was entirely your idea! We gathered shopping carts and put on costumes. We paraded through our apartments with our friends and it was the best time... our parents stood around with camcorders, and I'm pretty sure I still have that video on tape somewhere. You were THE BEST! I have so many memories of our childhood and I will never forget it.When you and Elena called my mom and I, you sounded exactly the same. EXACTLY. How can I forget your voice Never. It will always be in my memory and heart. You were so sweet, caring and understanding. You will never be forgotten.

These are just a few favorite memories of my cousin. Sonya and I would sing during our road trips from Garden City to La Junta, until she fell asleep. Auntie had to work, so sometimes I would take my little cousin to see family. Sonya was absolutely adorable. She LOVED to perform for us. I can see her singing and dancing. When Sonya was a little older she would ask me to play dress up with her and Amanda. I was basically the makeup artist. I laugh now because I'm really terrible at makeup but Sonya didn't care. The girls giggled, posed and danced around the house. I love her smile and can still hear her saying, 'Hey Nan'. I love you babe. Rest in Peace.

We wrestling Moms made scrapbooks together for our boys. It was great to get to know her. She really loved her family. I will really miss Sonya. Love to her amazing family.
