David Edward Rothwell Padgett

David Edward Rothwell Padgett passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2021. He was born in Lexington on November 9, 1966. He is the son of Thomas Padgett and Sarah Rothwell with one sibling, Gregory Padgett. He had two step siblings, Damon Coates and Whitney Morelock. He is also survived by his grandmother, Blanche Padgett. He was an outstanding parent of Sarah Faith Rothwell Padgett who was the focus and most important part of his life. David graduated from Lafayette High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University. His passion and initial career was in law enforcement and was employed by the Paris Police Department. Following an injury he received his CDL license and worked in the trucking industry. Services will be private. David was passionate about caring for animals and memorials can be directed to Woodstock Animal Foundation, 843 Lane Allen Road, Lexington, Kentucky 40503.
