David Michael Martini - Plank

David Michael Martini- Plank passed away on June 9, 2021 at Langtree Plantation in Mooresville, NC David was born February 18, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Gilbert and Iva Marie Plank who have predeceased him. David is also predeceased by his son Ian Plank. David is survived by sister Gerri Edwards (Bill) and Nieces Cathy Reed, Rhonda Booher, Bridgette Epke, and sister Nancy Waron, Nephew Brett Waron, Niece Megan Albers, and their families. He is also survived by his son Michael Plank, wife Hyoii Buonkrong, Grandsons Ryan Buonkrong and Ian Buonkrong Plank, and granddaughter Mychee Buonkrong. David was a highly recognized architect with many design awards. He was a graduate of The University of Florida, attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University where he received a Masters of Architect, and a graduate of Harvard. The funeral is scheduled for June 19, 2021 at 11 am at Tribute & Tallent Funerals & Cremations located at 1937 N. Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205. Followed by a burial at Charlotte Memorial Gardens located at 7632 Hood Rd., Charlotte, NC 28215. Presided by Pastor Mike Madding of The Cove Church in Mooresville, NC We, the family and friends of David will miss him dearly.
