David Lawrence Ruyts

David Lawrence Ruyts of Moncks Corner, SC, formally of Saginaw MI passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 63, after a four year battle with cancer. David graduated from Swan Valley High School, Saginaw MI, afterwards joined the US Navy where he served for 10 yrs. becoming a Nuclear Welder. Most recently he was co-owner and CEO of IGOT Incorporated dba Anago of Charleston with his wife, Dory. He Loved spending time with his Grandchildren and his two loving dogs Benji & Mandy. David attended and was active at St. John the Beloved in Summerville, SC. Besides his loving wife of 43 years, Doretta (Wellman), he leaves two daughters, Velvet Kessler and Margo Ruyts and 6 loving grandchildren, John V, Jennifer, Jason(Jeannie), Jessica Kessler and Emma and Evelyn-Ann Ruyts all of Summerville. His Parents, Arthur and Virginia Ruyts of Saginaw MI and 3 brothers, Paul(Kay) of MN, Donald(Penny) of VA, and Ralph Ruyts of MI. The Family would like to thank the professionals at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center, and the members of Amedisys Hospice especially his favorite nurse Shawna.
