David Brian Salter David Brian Salter was born November 19th, 1956 in Three Rivers, Michigan and passed October 27th 2018 in Seattle Washington. David is survived by a wife, Sherri, daughter Dawn Degnistien and son Jason Smith. He also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Timothy Kiourkas, Alisha Johnson, Makaila Mead, Alayna Deginstien, Diana Smith and Mia Smith. He served 19 yrs 9 months in the Army and retired as a Sargent First Class. He worked for 8 years at SS Landscaping, he enjoyed his work and his coworkers. The loss of David leaves a huge hole in all our hearts, David taught so many what the words love, honor, respect, work and commitment really mean. Family, good friends, and the farm were all David needed in life. We will miss his stories, his perseverance, his laughter and sense of humor. As a loving husband friend father David leaves Big shoes to fill. Please join the family in Celebrating David’s Life on November 9th , 2018. The celebration will begin at 8:45 am with the Military Honors Funeral at Tahoma National Cemetery. At 5:30 there will be a Ceremony followed by a potluck at Calvary Baptist Church of Roy.
