David Sausedo
February 17th, 1969 - February 9th, 2010
David Sausedo was a man that loved his family and friends. he loved playing basketball and camping outdoors. David was an avid reader of Mexican/Aztec history. David is survived by his wife, Odelia and two sons, David Jr. and Julian. David also leaves behind his Mother, Dora Sausedo, Sister Elizabeth Delgado and two brothers, Victor and Alex Sausedo. David enjoyed watching football and basketball on TV, especially his 49ers and Lakers. David's closest friends were Rollie Hinojos, David Carrillo and Sam Garcia, who were a part of his life, as were many others. David touched many people through his love for art and his knowledge of Mexican culture. It seemed as though David knew everything from sports to politics, which made him an excellent debator. David was a natural leader and led troubled youths by supervising these young people in painting multiple murals throughout the city of Salinas while employed by Hartnell College. In summary, David was a faithful husband and dedicated father who provided for his boys. As a son, he honored his Mother, as a brother, he was a protector and as a friend, he was loyal and true. We will all miss you, but know that we will see you soon, one day in heaven. We Entrusted David Sausedo's Care To
Healey Mortuary
At Healey, we treat our Salinas Valley community members like family. Our story begins after World War II when Veteran Herbert C. Healey hoped to find a way to continue to meaningfully help his county and community grow. He and his wife founded Salinas Valley Mortuary in 1956 to help serve the families in the Salinas Valley area. Their lifelong mission was to unselfishly serve area families based on their strong, trusting relationship with their community – something we honor to this day almost seven decades years later....
