David M. Stark
August 29th, 1952 - July 28th, 2014
"South Hadley, David M. Stark, 61, died on Monday, July 28th. Born in Aurora, CO on August 29, 1952 he was the son of Lloyd and Mary (Savacheck) Stark. David, a long time South Hadley resident was a graduate of South Hadley High School, and Holyoke Community College. He had a multitude of interests which include fishing, hunting, bird watching, gardening and his dogs. David was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and spent much of his time volunteering in the local community. He will be remembered by many for his big heart and sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Anne-Therese Stark and her son Aaron of South Deerfield along with a close family friend, Francis Hague of Holyoke. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Wayne, Stephen and Mary Ann. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Donations in his memory may be made to the church or charity of your choice."
