David Paul Stiles

NA David Paul Stiles, Jr. Dave 48 passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 in Providence St. Peter Hospital of cancer. His family was by his side. He was born to Karon Kay (Hume) and David Paul Stiles, Sr. in Malstrom Air Force Base Hospital in Great Falls, Montana. The family moved to Yelm, Washington where he grew up. Graduating from Yelm High School he later received his BA and BS Degrees from The Evergreen State College. Dave had a longtime interest in Law Enforcement. He had been a Police explorer with the Yelm Police Department.. He also served with the Yelm and Rainier Police and Fire Deptrtments. Dave had been active with the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team and was part of the Thurston County search and Rescue. His love of the wilderness will be remembered by many through his Photography, which he enjoyed very much. He was a member of the SCA. David will be greatly missed by his Son, David Stiles, III (Cheyenne); parents Kay Stiles and Dave Stiles, grandfather Pat Hume and sister Patti Notine. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Helen Hume and Wid and Helen Stiles Private Family Services will be held. Memorials may be made to Northwest Trek. 11610 Trek Dr E Eatonville, WA 98328.
