David "Davey Big Dave Pollak" D. Toporek

David D. "Dave" "Davey" "Big Dave" "Pollak" "Torpedo" Toporek Of Waukesha, formerly of Pewaukee, died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the age of 60. Dave was born on April 5, 1951 in Waukesha the son of Daniel and Marie Toporek. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines on February 8, 1971 and proudly served as an SOES, MCAS and MCB in Quentico, VA as well as receiving training as an Electrical Engineer. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Dave worked as a punch press operator for Cooper Power for over 42 years. Dave will be sadly missed by his wife, Susan "Susie" whom he married on April 30, 1977; his children, Samuel of Waukesha and Rachel Toporek of Sussex; his grandchildren, Sabrina and Abigail Toporek and Brittany Goocher; his Aunt Audrey Sinic of Pewaukee; his sisters, Kathy, Patricia and Lynda. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. The visitation for Dave will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. Full military honors will follow the service at the funeral home. Rev. Michael Turriff will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Mt. Calvary Ev.
