David Ray Tucker

Tucker, David Ray "Tucker" 66, of Gulfport and Arcadia, Florida passed away on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014 after a brief stay at Bayfront Hospice. He lived most of his life in St. Petersburg as a merchant fisherman and as an iron worker on the Skyway Bridge. He came to Arcadia in the 1980's, worked for Sorrell's Brothers and numerous other jobs. Though Tucker left Arcadia, his heart was always here in Arcadia. "Tucker" is survived by his extended family - Susan and Allbon Sharkey, Robert Floyd and his many friends in Arcadia, St. Petersburg and at the Boca Ciega Rehab Center where he had been living for the past few years. Tucker's ashes will be spread at the Peace River Bridge at noontime on New Year's Day, 2015. A Life Tribute, Gulfport, FL.
