David Ronald Tyne

April 15th, 1950 - April 10th, 2024

David Ronald Tyne, 73, was born April 15, 1950 in Princeton, Illinois. He passed away on April 10, 2024 in Tucson, Arizona. David graduated from Leland Community High School (Leland, Illinois) in 1968. In the same year he enlisted in the United States Army, was assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade. And he served in the Vietnam War, was wounded and subsequently awarded the Purple Heart. David was working for the Arizona Auto Saving for about 20 years and started his own company SNR Enterprises, LLC in 2005. He retired in 2009. David enjoyed fishing and golfing. He had a Hole-In-One at Crooked Tree Golf Course, Tucson, Arizona in Aug. 7, 2018. David also enjoyed spending time with his wife June along with their German Shepherds and horses. He is preceded in death by his son, David Harold Tyne, parents Harold and Violet Tyne, brother Donald Tyne and sister Helen Tyne. He is survived by his spouse, June Chow-Tyne, brother Robert (Karen) Tyne of DeKalb, Illinois, sister Betty Brown of Englewood, Florida, sister Joyce Bennett of Palmetto, Florida, grand-daughters Maria Escalante, Xylena Stephens, grandson David Tibias Tyne and five great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation of David Tyne will be at the Adair Funeral Home, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., Tucson, AZ 85704 on April 22, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., and the Internment and Military Service will be at the Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd., Tucson, AZ 85705 on April 26, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..
