David Williams

Church Hill - David Thomas Williams, 50 of Church Hill went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday May 19, 2015 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born September 14, 1964 at Malstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls, Montana. He lived his early years in Campbellsville, Falmouth and Williamstown, Kentucky. In 1996 he moved to East Tennessee where he lived in Kingsport and Hawkins County until his death. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Church Hill, TN. David worked in grocery stores since age 15. He worked in Williamstown and Dry Ridge, KY, Kingsport and Rogersville. He loved working with tropical fish and playing his guitars. He had written and set to music many songs. David is survived by his wife, Tracy Williams of Rogersville; two daughters, Erin Riddle of Dry Ridge, KY and Maggie Williams of Church Hill, TN; one son Austin Williams-Eidson of Bulls Gap, TN; his parents, Rev. Tommy and Nancy Williams of Kingsport; one sister, Dena Porter and husband Bond of Kingsport; grandmother, Neoma Peters of Campbellsville, KY; two grandchildren, Lukas and Levi of Dry Ridge, KY; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family members. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with Pastor Gary Gerhardt officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the sister, Dena Williams Porter to help with funeral expenses. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Williams family.
