David Alfred Wilson

Mr. David A. Wilson, 76, of Swansea SC, passed away Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, at home with his wife by his side. David was born in New Richmond, WI. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, “pawpaw”, brother and friend. His generous spirit and good humor will be remembered by many, and missed by all who knew him. David served his country honorably in the US Navy, and he was a dedicated employee for 38 years with Phenix Supply, from where he retired. David is survived by his loving wife, Debra Wilson of the home; son, David S. and Cola Wilson of Minnesota; stepson, Daniel and Jenny Love of Greensboro, NC; 5 grandchildren, Britt Martin, Corbin Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Morgan Love, Addison Love; and 1 great granddaughter, Aubree; mother, Bessie A Wilson of Minnesota; brother, Roger Wilson of Minnesota; and sisters, Ida Hanna and Judith, both of Minnesota. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He was predeceased by his father, Cyrus Wilson; sister, Judee Pruitt; and stepson, Phillip Love. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at the Mausoleum Chapel of Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Road, Lexington, SC 29072.

Dad I’m going to miss you deeply. The time we had to together ment the world to me. You are going to be missed by many. I could write a lot more but my dad wasn’t big on conversation so I’m going to keep it short . Dad I love you very much and I’ll see you again at some point
