Dawn "Smolenski" M. Carpine
January 30th, 1954 - April 4th, 2017
Dawn passed away at age 63 on April 4, 2017 in Yelm, Washington, her home the past eight years. She was born January 30, 1954 to Beryl (Gelersted) and Henry Smolenski in Boston, Massachusetts. Dawn also lived in the Massachusetts cities of South Boston, Dorchester, and Randolph. Dawn married William “Bill” Carpine on June 5, 1971 in Dorchester. She worked at Roslindale Pediatric Associates, and Brigham and Womens Faulkner Hospital in Boston until 2008. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and DIY projects and crafts. She also loved spending time with her husband, three children and six grandchildren. She dedicated many years volunteering with the South Randolph Little League, coaching her children’s softball and baseball teams, as well as with the Commonwealth Figure Skating Club of Randolph. Dawn is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Carpine of Yelm; son, David Carpine, daughter-in-law, Lisa Kinser-Carpine of Methuen, Massachusetts; daughter, Beth Carpine-Jennelle, son-in-law, SGT (Ret.) Jeffrey Jennelle, and grandchildren, Katelyn Jennelle, Trace Jennelle, and Patrick Jennelle of Yelm; daughter, Amy Carpine-Pearlstein, son-in-law, SSG Jeffrey Pearlstein; and grandchildren, Jack O’Hara, William Pearlstein and Emma Pearlstein of Yelm; and brother, Robert “Bob” Smolenski of Yelm. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Jan Smolenski of Cranston, Rhode Island. Please leave memories of Dawn or condolences for her family in the Guestbook below.
