Dawn Brittingham Mace, age 90 died Sunday, March 5th, 2017 at Highline Rehabilitation & Care Community. Dawn was born in Denver, CO on April 06, 1926 to parents George and Ruth. She attended University of Denver for her Bachelor degree, after which she became an English teacher in Denver Public Schools. She married Herbert B. Mace, and was blessed with two children, Bonnie Styer (Mace) and Herbert Mace. Dawn shone a beacon of love and strength to all those around here, and will be remembered for her kind heart, sharp wit, and generous nature. She brought out the best in those around her, and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her children, her sister Barbara Brooks, and her grandchildren Jazmine Syer, Sarah Ives and Tonya Smith, as well as her seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, and her sister, Gerry Brittingham Marx.
