VENETA — A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at 89237 Sheffler Road in Elmira for Dean E. Krohnke of Veneta, who died Aug. 6 of angiosarcoma. He was 63.He was born Jan. 6, 1947, to Everett and Shirley Johnson Krohnke in Devils Lake, N.D. He married Janice Rollins on Oct. 2, 1988, in Eugene.He was a long-haul truck driver for his family business, and a forklift driver for 22 years at Rosboro Lumber in Veneta.Survivors include his wife; his mother; a son, Ray Rollins of Meridian, Idaho; a daughter, Suzane Lemoine of Stedman, N.C.; two brothers, Jerry of La Pine and Rick of Crescent Lake Junction; and four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.Arrangements by Murphy-Musgrove Funeral Home. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice or Vietnam Veterans.
