September 3rd, 1941 - November 29th, 2016
Deanna Barbara DeWitt, born September 3, 1941 in Yuba City, passed away November 29, 2016 in Sacramento. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Norma DeWitt of Sutter. She was a past president of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, South Butte Parlor in Sutter and loved to use her amazing sewing skills to make quilts and many other things. She had spent many years gathering information and pictures of her family and the history of Sutter County and enjoyed volunteering at the Community Memorial Museum of Sutter County. She is survived by her brother, Waldo (Marcene) DeWitt of Sacramento, her nieces Tracy (Eric) Paul, and Kerry DeWitt of Sacramento, and her nephew Brian (Cristina) DeWitt and great niece Madelyn of Fort Worth, Texas and many cousins. Donations of remembrance may be made to the Community Memorial Museum, Yuba City, 1333 Butte House Rd., Yuba City, CA 95993.
