View Tribute Book Obituary Deanna Isis James, 18, and her unborn child, Hayden, passed away on 12/23/2022 at her home in Windsor Colorado after her battle with Leukemia. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Linda; her siblings, Monica (Mikel), Mark, Anthony, Joseph, Emily, Benjamin and her boyfriend, Nathan. The funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vessey Funeral Service. Deanna was born in McCook, Nebraska on July 2nd, 2004. She graduated from St. James School of Honors high school in Windsor and was taking online college courses through Harvard. Deanna worked at FedEx in the package handling and shipping department. She enjoyed playing the piano, dance, gymnastics, ballet, volleyball, basketball, science fairs, track and field, math competitions and theatrics. Deanna also enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends. Her strong and positive attitude helped her graciously take the time to crochet hats for other cancer patients while receiving treatment herself. Deanna truly loved life and was a courageous soul who fought hard, lived well, and had no regrets. May we all live so well.
