April 28th, 1948 - January 15th, 2022
Deborah A. Rogers, 73, of Broadalbin passed away on January 15, 2022. Born in Amsterdam on April 28, 1948 she is the daughter of the late Adelbert W. and Jeannette M. (Hasenfuss) Shelmandine. She is survived by her loving husband Leonard T. Rogers of Broadalbin whom she married on January 18, 2001. Also by her brothers William Shelmandine of Broadalbin, Michael (Michelle) Shelmandine of Worcester, and sisters Kelley Munson of Ft. Plain and Andrea Neuls of Gloversville. Deborah is also survived by her loving grandchildren Darren Clemons and Danielle Clemons both of Indiana, and five great grandchildren Vincent Clemens, Violet Clemons, Ayden Pirtle, Alyiah Baggerly, and Aubrie Clemons. Deborah is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents Deborah is predeceased by her children Tammy Clemons, Kenneth Sponable, and by her nephew Thomas Munson During her lifetime Deborah was a 1966 graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School, and worked several jobs retiring in 2020 from NBT Bank in Vail Mills. Deborah enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Deborah can be made to GAVAC, P.O. Box 11, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
