December 27th, 1957 - December 6th, 2011
Debra Rae Ledbetter, 53, died at her home in Pacific, WA. December 6, 2011. Debra was born December 27, 1957, the loving daughter of Ray and Benereen Sparks. She was a resident of Raytown, MO. And a member of the Central Free Will Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO. She was joined in marriage to Jim Ledbetter May 15, 1976, to this union were born 2 daughters Lisa Renae, and Jessica Rae to whom she was a loving mother, best friend and devoted wife. She and her family moved to Auburn, WA in 1986. She was a well-loved employee at Auburn Mechanical for 20 years until her illness. Debra is survived by her husband Jim Ledbetter of the home. Daughters Lisa Ledbetter of Auburn, WA and Jessica and husband James Christensen of Pacific, WA. Mother Benereen Sparks of Lee’s Summit, MO. and was preceded in death by her father Ray Sparks, 53, in August 1981. Debra left a beloved grandson Ethan Elijah, 17, and her “sweetpea” granddaughter Khloe Renae 1 ½. Sisters Linda Dunn, of Grandview, MO. and Cheryl and husband Lawrence Irvin of Lee’s Summit, Mo. Debra also leaves behind many loved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly and many friends also. She will be missed. Funeral services are to be held Monday December 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at United Methodist Church of Sumner, WA. with interment at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent, WA. Debra faced her illness with dignity and grace, always thinking of others before herself until God called her home, where she is being serenaded by the angels.
