Angel Valley Funeral Home & Old Pueblo Crematory
Debra Magrum
October 11th, 1958 - September 2nd, 2016
Debbie believed that all people should live every moment of their lives to the fullest, and to put aside the differences and conflicts and love each other. She always had a smile and loved people. She was always ready to help others in need or to speak a kind word to comfort. She also loved to socialize and have fun with family and friends. Every holiday was special for her, but Christmas was her favorite. She would take a week just to put up the Christmas tree. Every light had to be in its place. She collected angels all her life, but also was an Angle herself. She also enjoyed collecting chili pepper memorabilia. She loved to sing karaoke, and sang like an angle. She loved country western music and sang songs from Tommy Rowe, Patsy Cline, Lori Morgan, Nancy Sinatra and many more. Her karaoke collection is second to none. She had her picture taken with Tommy Rowe and friend Kathy at a Tommy Rowe concert and enjoyed it so much she framed it. She cultivated many friendships through out her life, professional and personal. She worked in the aerospace industry as an office and facilities manager for Paragon Space Development Corporation. Many of her co-workers became personal friends and Paragon became part of our family. Thank you all for what you’ve done. And special thanks to Joel and Marisa for all you did. Debbie passed peacefully on Friday September 2, 2016, after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her Father and Mother, Leon and Audrey Halvorson, of Bothell, WA, her three sisters, Lori Bryant of Shoreline, WA, Joni Halvorson of Tucson, AZ, Pam Halvorson of Mekinok, ND, her husband David, of Tucson, AZ, six Stepchildren and seventeen Grandchildren, and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Debbie believed in celebrating life. Therefore the family would like to invite all of her friends to join the family in celebration by sharing memories of Deb with us on her Birthday, October 11, 2016, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm, at her home. The address is 3084 S. Beck Drive. Golflinks and Wilmont area.
