Dee Ann Murray

DeeAnn (Dunn) Murray, 77, passed away at University of New Mexico Hospital November 28, 2015, with her family by her side. DeeAnn was born in June of 1938 in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Austin High School in 1956 and worked in sales until retiring in 1994. DeeAnn married Brent Murray on October 26, 1984 and lived in Albuquerque, NM before relocating to Los Lunas, NM in 2000. Her passions included painting, teaching exercise classes at the Los Lunas Senior Center, spendingtime with her family and relaxing at their cabin in Canones, NM. DeeAnn will be remembered for the love she showed her family and friends and for being such a kind and thoughtful person, and she will be missed beyond words. DeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Emet and Rita Dunn and her first husband, W.D. Scott. She is survived by her husband Brent Murray; her brothers Charlie Dunn and wife Lorna, Jack Dunn and wife Shepie; children Don Scott and wife Marie; Debbie (Scott) Fosso and husband Jason; Shannon (Murray) Hardt and her husband Jeff; Mike Murray; grandchildren Paula (Scott) Martin and husband Skye; Kandice and fiancée Ryan Lewis, Dulcy Scott and Ashlee Murray as well as her great-granddaughter Cora Rae Martin. The service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM at New Life Fellowship Church, located at 1928 Fellowship Way, Belen NM 87002 with a reception to follow.
