Delbert "Deb" Davis
February 4th, 1929 - October 2nd, 2014
Kernersville-Delbert Allen Deb Davis, 85, passed away October 2, 2014. A Time of Celebrating his life will be held at a later date. A native of Williamstown, Pennsylvania, Deb was the son of the late Ella Bond and Malcolm Lynn Davis. He was a chemist with Burlington Industries and also served as an athletic trainer for East Forsyth High School for a number of years. In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy Burnett Davis who died in 2003, his son Chuck Davis, and brother Robert Charles Davis. Survivors include his wife Margean Griffin Davis of the home; daughters Debbie Franks and Steve of Atlanta, GA, Sunni Lauten and Mike of Kernersville, and Beth Davenport and Ed of Denver, NC; son Tom Davis and Dawn of Tampa, FL; daughter-in-law Nancy Hale Davis of Belews Creek; grandchildren Sean Holland, Justin Holland, Stefanie Murphy and Ryan, Bo Poske, Tripp Poske and Kendall, Maggie Poske, Charlie Davis, Will Davis, Drew Davenport, and Gina Davis; step-daughter Ashley Doughton and Tommy; step-son Travis Griffin and Melissa; step-grandchildren Sam Doughton, Grace Doughton, Laura Doughton, James Doughton, and Katie Griffin.
