Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Delores "Dee" Corrine Haines
November 26th, 1928 - January 11th, 2024
Delores “Dee” Haines peacefully passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 95. Dee was born in Watonga, Oklahoma on November 26, 1928. Her family later settled in Northern Idaho where Dee attended school. Dee was an incredibly nurturing mother, grandmother and great grandmother who not only raised her own children, but took in multiple relatives throughout the years, leaving an enduring legacy of maternal love. Dee touched many lives with her kindness and compassion. She was fiercely proud of her kids and grandchildren and always the first to brag about their accomplishments. Dee loved nature and animals. Her dogs were always treasured members of her family. Working on a cattle ranch most of her adult life, animals were always an important part of her life. From strays, to feral cats, to her precious puppies, Dee always had a treat and kind word for her animals. One of Dee’s greatest pleasures in life was to explore new areas and see new sights. She was blessed to be able to travel to Hawaii, Europe and, her favorite, the Oregon Coast. Always enthusiastic about new adventures, Dee was a joy to travel with. Her enthusiasm was contagious and she will be missed as a travel companion. In honoring her memory, it’s easy to reflect on the love and warmth Dee left behind. She was deeply loved by both friends and family and will be profoundly missed. She was preceded in death by Lorris Walker, Norrine and Corrine Walker, her sister, Darlene Walker; her brother, Cecil Davis; and Robert Haines, her husband of over 60 years. She is survived by her cherished family: Walter “Butch” Haines, Cheryl Haines Sobba (Bob), Ben Shea (Sandra), Dan Walker(Tina), Amy Sobba Diaz (Will), Angie Sobba, Kyle Haines (Christine), Ethan Diaz, Elianna Diaz, Chad Walker, Jay Walker, Joey Walker and countless great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
