Denise Ann Carpenter

Obituary Denise Ann Carpenter, 48, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away on January 29, 2014 in her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Joseph and Paula Guarnere. She graduated class of 1984 from Smokey Hill High School in Aurora, CO and married her high school sweetheart Mike Carpenter on August 3rd, 1984. Denise worked for United Airlines in the Denver reservations center from 1997 until 2000 and then moved to Havelock, NC and obtained her CNA license. She settled back to Colorado Springs in 2003. Denise was a kind, caring and generous woman who always put the needs and care of others above her own. She took great pride in caring for her family and friends and opening her home to anyone in need. She is survived by her mother Paula Guarnere of Philadelphia, PA, Husband Mike, three daughters and their husbands, Laurin And Sandy Abreu of Jacksonville, NC, Aubrey and Joshua Williams of Colorado Springs, Kaylee and Delmar Hernandez Garcia of Colorado springs, and two grandchildren Sophie and Bentley Abreu. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Guarnere.
