On December 13, 2010 we lost our Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Papa, and Friend, Dennis Bird. Dennis was born on May 1, 1943 to Eugene and Alfreda Bird. He worked for the City of Chico, for 20 years. He was involved in Search and Rescue, and Hunters education. Dennis loved to hunt and fish, he lived life to it's fullest. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Dennis is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne Bird; his son, Dan Bird and his wife, Tracy; daughter, Kim Furney and her husband, Bill; grandchildren, Garrett, Kayla, Misty and Beth; his father, Eugene Bird and brother, Mike Bird; nieces, Shelly Bartos and Crystal Gervasi, and nephew, Cody Bird. There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brusie funeral Home.
