Dennis Wayne Braswell, age 79, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 13th at home. Born on September 14, 1944, in Bristol, CT to Thetas and Phyllis Braswell, Dennis was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
A longtime resident of Rockledge, Dennis was known for his kind heart, storytelling, infectious laughter, and dedication to his family. He grew up in rural Georgia, studied chemistry at the University of Georgia and prior to retirement, worked in the textile industry.
Dennis was passionate about his family, and found great joy in spending time fishing, at the beach, watching college football and driving his red convertible. He was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Terresa; children, Jeff and Diane (spouse), Jason and Justin (spouse); grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Kaitlin, and Ryan; siblings, Tom, Susan, Wendy and Kelly; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Dennis’s life will be held at Beckman-Williamson of Viera - 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge, FL 32955 on Saturday, July 20th. Gathering starts at 10 am, service begins at 11.
