Dennis "Rabbit" Wayne Carson
November 22nd, 1959 - October 23rd, 2022
Dennis Wayne "Rabbit" Carson, 62, passed away at home on Sunday, October 23, 2022 after a 4 day illness. He was preceded by his parents the late Heber and Mary Ann Carson, of Summerville, SC; and his brother Heber “Butch” Carson of Florida. Dennis is survived by his wife of 16 years Cherylann (Parker) Carson; his sister, Cheryl Ann (Michael) Gillenwaters of Smiths Station, AL; brother, Carl Bradford "Peanut" (Misty) Carson of Santee Circle, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews of SC. He also leaves behind many beautiful aunts, great uncles, cousins and life-long dear friends. Some of his greatest moments was the time he spent with his wife and friends on the lake fishing, around a campfire in the woods or just in the backyard. Stories of old and new would come to surprise the listeners and sometimes the teller of these stories, because he would always make them sound so believable.
