DENNIS BRYAN EVANS Dennis "Bryan Evans was born in Trenton, NJ to Billy and Patricia Evans on 9/2/1951 and passed away in Chico, CA on 4/5/2022. He graduated from Morro Bay High School and continued his education at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, where he received his BS in Physical Education. He stared working for the State of California in the Dept. of Transportation, then transferred to the Dept. of Corrections, where he continued his career as a Lieutenant until his retirement in 2014. He married Karen "Lynne" Stirling on Feb. 14, 1972 in Morro Bay California. They were blessed with three sons, Chris, Dave and Mat. Bryan is survived by his wife Lynne, his children Chris (Teresa), Dave (Joi) and Mat. His mother Patricia, sisters Shelly, Lisa Betsy and brothers Neil, Chris and Kevin, and grandchildren Reeve, Jordan, Caden and Grace. He is preceded in death by his father Billy and brother Steve. Services are being held Friday, April 22nd at 2pm at Brusie Funeral Home in Chico. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Butte Humane Society at buttehumane.org
