Gast, Dennis R., 64, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, June 2, 2006. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he came here in 1959 from Croswell, Michigan. He was a firefighter with the St. Petersburg Fire Department and retired after 39 years. He was a member of the International Harvester Club and the Florida Flywheelers. Survivors include, his wife of 20 years, Kathy; his mother, Dulce R. Gast, St. Petersburg, FL; a son, Jonathan Weihman, Tampa, FL; two daughters, Denise Wakeley and Deborah Paradis, both of Pinellas Park, FL; a sister, Patricia Mason, North Fort Myers, FL; and a grandson, Patrick Wakeley, Pinellas Park, FL.
