My Life Story Born February 17, 1936, Dennis went home to be with the Lord on September 17, 2015 in Meridian after a long battle with cancer. Born in Woodland Kansas, he was raised in Denver, lived many years in San Diego and many more in the Boise area. Dennis served in the Air Force and had many occupations throughout his life, mostly in electronics or video fields. His most recent career was his passion - videography. Dennis was very smart and had many skills and abilities. He led a very full life and had many hobbies that included; flying planes and gliders, parachuting, camping, acting, fishing, dancing and music. He loved model railroads and was busy building a model remote controlled airplane from scratch prior to his health declining. He even rode his motorcycle to Denver for his 50th high school reunion after being diagnosed over 2.5 years ago. He loved sports and coaching, and he loved the San Diego Chargers. He is survived by his wife Laurel, his 3 children: Mark Alan Kucera-Gulley, Deborah Ann (Tom) Gulley-Needham, Michael Scott (Jessica) Gulley, and his children's mother, Louise Kucera; his grandchildren: Sandra Louise, Christopher, Patrick, Sarah, Kimberly, Brandon, Erin, Crystal, Jason, Rachel and Zachary; his 5 great-grandchildren and his siblings Ed, Steve, Paula, Galen and their families. A memorial service will be held at the Linder Road Church of Christ, 1555 N. Linder Rd, Meridian, on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to cancer research. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home.

We Entrusted Dennis Gulley's Care To

Accent Funeral Home

A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
