Dennis Murray, 65, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at home on the Eastside of Syracuse, with his loved one, Aritha Cowan by his side. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in Manhattan. Dennis formerly worked at the CNY Psychiatric Center in Oneida and presently worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor at the Peter Young Housing Industry & Treatment Center in Schenectady. Besides Aritha, he leaves three daughters, Towanda Williams, Annette and Dr. Tonya Rickman; six sisters and two brothers. Calling hours are Friday, March 29, 2013 from 11 am - 1 pm at Living Waters COGIC, 121 Huron Street, Syracuse, with services following at 1 pm.
