Upon graduating trade school, Dennis enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served proudly for six years as a machinist on the USS Davis. He then went on to enlist in the United States Army for four years as a reservist. During his time in the service, he would send his earnings back home to mom and dad to help pay the bills. Dennis for many years always loved to entertain, barbecuing and cooking for others. He was a very social guy! Dennis always enjoyed listening to good rock music and he especially loved the Beatles. He always had a smile on his face. He always loved to laugh, joke, prank and make funny faces. His humor could be a bit sarcastic at times and he had an extremely quick wit.
