Mr. Derrick Michael Rogers, 21, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Greensboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, July 6th at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Rob Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. Mr. Rogers was born in Guilford County to Michael Rogers and Michelle Martin Shepard. Derrick was a student at GTCC. He was a bright and very charismatic person, devoted to his family, especially his new born daughter Lailah. Mr. Rogers is survived by his daughter, Lailah Rogers; mother, Michelle Shepard and husband Kim; father, Mike Rogers; grandparents, Kay and Bobby Martin , and Edna Shepard; sisters, Amanda and Julee; brothers, Joshua and Brad; uncle, Joe Martin; niece, Jaiden and nephew, Tyler. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral
