Diana Maria Hege
November 20th, 1955 - August 15th, 2016
Diana Maria Espin Hege is free to fly after a hasty battle with cancer in Charlotte North Carolina on August 15, 2016. Diana is survived by her spouse Broadus, son William, daughter Linda, grandson Logan and four brothers. She is preceded by both parents, Delia and Carlos Espin, sister Rosa Linda, and one son Brian. Diana was one of a kind. Though terribly misunderstood by her disability, she saw value in the little things. Diana always had a joke ready and laughed through life with a butterfly on one sleeve and a blue devil on the other. Diana was a caretaker, helping people with their own struggles to the best of her abilities. An informal Memorial reception will be held Thursday, August 25 at 6 PM at the Home of her childhood 5333 The Plaza in Charlotte, NC where any expression of sympathy or condolences may be delivered.
