Diana L. Laskowski
August 24th, 1939 - September 30th, 2013
Diana L. Laskowski, of Pewaukee passed away Monday, September 30, 2013 at her residence at the age of 74 years. She was born in Milwaukee, on August 24, 1939 the daughter of Harold C. and Llewellyn R. (Van Hulla) Frye. In 1977, Diana graduated from MATC where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. She had been employed as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital. Diana was a member of Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church where she belonged to the Christian Women, as well as taking communion to the Catholic residents at Manor Care Nursing Home. Diana also participated in the St. Vincent DePaul Food Program. Diana enjoyed bowling, playing cards and scrabble. She loved to travel, golf in the summer, and was an avid reader. She will be remembered for her cooking, caring of others and her volunteerism. Diana is survived by her loving children, Laura (Russell) Szpot of Willmington, OH; Beth Ann (George) Connelly of Savage, MN; Ben Laskowski of Pewaukee; and Gerald Laskowski Jr. of Albany, WI. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Amanda Laskowski; Joseph Connelly, Abigail Laskowski, and Lily Laskowski; brother, Lewis Frye of Milwaukee and a sister, Cheryl Marquardt-Ritger of Hartford, WI. Diana is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Llewellyn Frye and by one brother, Donald Frye. The visitation for Diana will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 8:30 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. Memorial Mass at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, locate at N35W23360 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Diana may be given to Sojourner Family Peace Center, P.O. Box 080319, Milwaukee, WI 53208 or to the American Cancer Society, N19W24350 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53188.
