Mohave Memorial Funeral and Crematory
Diana Rea Leon
December 28th, 1947 - January 14th, 2021
To know her was to love her. Diana was a deeply cherished, loving and trusted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was a joy to talk with, naturally supportive and compassionate. She had an unforgettable spirit and laugh, with a beautiful smile that was both uplifting and heartfelt. Diana will be missed by so many and will be forever in our hearts. Born in Iowa on December 28, 1947, Diana was the oldest of three children born to Shirley Wake and Gerald Hargrave. Diana grew up in Phoenix, AZ and graduated from Alhambra High School. After marrying in 1966, Diana and Jerry Dublin moved to the bay area where their sons Brian and Jason were born. They later divorced. Diana started in real estate in 1974, where she met Rob Giraudo. They were married in 1978 and became a family of 8. They later divorced. In 1983, Diana, Terry Allmer and her sons moved to Gresham, OR. Diana and Terry married in 1985. Sadly, Terry passed away in 1991. She worked for US Bank and later became VP/Regional Operations Manager until 1999. After leaving US Bank, she returned to real estate. She loved real estate and soon became the owner/broker of Real Estate Headquarters in Gresham until she retired in 2017. After retiring, Diana moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ, where she and Leo (her longtime boyfriend) had built the home of their dreams. They married on July 8, 2020. Though the marriage was short, they could not have been happier or more in love. Diana always loved her work, but her heart was her sons, family and friends. One of her passions was travel and she did that as often as possible. Diana passed away quietly on January 14th. Unfortunately, she was one of the hundreds of thousands of loved ones in the states that have passed from COVID-19. Diana was preceded in death by her father Gerald Hargrave, stepfather Billy Ward Sr., mother Shirley Ward, prior husband Terry Allmer, son Jason Dublin and her brother, Billy Ward Jr. She is survived by her husband Leo, her son Brian Dublin in Oregon, her sister Darlene Dunton in Boise, ID, her brother Bruce Ward in Florence, OR, her half-sister Tamara Hargrave Mosley in Henderson, NC and her family, her half-brother Jerry Hargrave in Ellijay, Georgia and his family, her 2 grandsons Hunter & Walker Dublin, Terry's son Lee Allmer, Terry's sister Sydni Mollett and her family, 2 nieces - Shelley Gale and Andrea Ward Poe, 2 nephews - Doug Gale and Travis Ward, 3 great nieces, 5 great nephews and 1 great-great nephew.
