Diana Marie Shaffer
January 17th, 1955 - February 21st, 2014
Diana Marie Shaffer, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2014 at Wesley Long Hospital. At Diana's request there will be no formal services. Diana was born in Guilford County on January 17, 1955, a daughter to Ralph Eugene Shaffer, Jr. and Roxie Marion Shaffer. She graduated from Page High School where she was a member of the Beta Club and the Honor Society. After high school she continued her education graduating from UNCG with a major in music education. She taught private violin/viola lessons for many years then went into public education. After many years of public music education she continued with reading intervention programs for the public schools. She was a very talented artist having played with many various orchestras as a violist. Diana is survived by her sister, Cynthia Carol Shaffer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and the children she taught over many years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to one's favorite charity in memory of Diana.
