Diane Terese Lange, aged 56, passed away on March 25, 2015 at Northern Idaho Advance Care Hospital at Post Falls, Idaho after battling Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) for over a year. Diane was born September 20, 1958, in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of the late Chester L. Desmarteau and late Kathleen M. Rollman – Mellinger. Diane attended Meadowdale Junior High School and graduated Meadowdale High school in Lynwood, Washington. Also attended Edmonds Community College for a few semesters. On February 25, 1991, Diane married her late husband Steve M. Lange. They had three sons, Christopher M. Lange, Shane A. Lange, and Nathan A. Lange. After her husband Steve passed away, Diane was in a relationship with David A. Anderson and she remained with him until she passed. She lived up in Mt. Hull in Tonasket, Washington for eleven years with her two boys Shane and Nathan, also with her boyfriend David. Diane was free spirited and loved the outdoors living up in the mountains. She was a loving wife to her late husband Steve, a caring mother to her boys, a kind partner to boyfriend and a friend to all. Diane is survived by her four siblings; sister Marie A. Barret and her husband Gary Barrett (daughters Adrienne Barret and Lindsey Barrett-Sosa and her husband Carlos Sosa), sister Ramona L. Prescott and her husband David R. Prescott, brother Michael A. Desmarteau and his wife Lynda Desmarteau, and brother Kevin J. Desmarteau. Also by her children; eldest son Christopher M. Lange and his wife Jennifer I. Lange (their children Johnny S. Vasco and Kimberly G. Lange), son Shane A. Lange and son Nathan A. Lange. In addition to many other relatives There is a memorial service at Edwards Memorial funeral home in Lakewood, Washington on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 2pm. All are welcome.
