Diane Miller lifelong resident of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 after a short illness surrounded by her loving family at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 50. She was born April 14, 1963 the daughter of Melvin and Dawn (Olson) Banach. Diane married Dan Miller on Sept. 1, 1984 in Waukesha. Diane graduated from Waukesha North High School in 1981 and graduated from WCTC in Food Service. She worked as a kitchen supervisor at Godfrey Fleming Co for the first 15 years of her career. She continued in Food Service in 2000 when she worked for the Kettle Moraine School District as the supervisor for child nutrition. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a member of the Waukesha Aerie 453 FOE in Waukesha. She enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing but was most passionate about her family and taking care of others. Diane will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Dan; her daughters, Nikki (Nathan) Christensen of Waukesha and Lauren of Waukesha; her granddaughter, Adalyn; her mother, Dawn (Bud) Pease of Dousman; her siblings, Steve Banach, Jackie Kuss and Jeffrey (Rea) Flannigan; mother-in-law, Shelby Hemauer; father-in-law, John (Elaine) Miller; further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. The visitation for Diane will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the 7:00 p.m. service at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Karen Pahl will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family. The family of Diane would like to extend their appreciation for the care and ongoing support during this difficult time to Rev. Karen Pahl and Rev. Gary Liedtke and the Drs. and ICU staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
